A studio built on welcome.
FOLD started in Stoke Newington in 2019 with a simple ask: come as you are. The room got busy, the community got close, and we have been building on that ever since.
Yoga, without the pretense.
We opened in 2019 because we wanted to practice somewhere that felt more like a room of mates than a wellness brand. Where you could turn up sweaty from work, fall out of a pose, laugh about it, and still feel held.
Five years on, FOLD is two studios, an online community, and a programme of workshops and trainings that has grown almost entirely through word of mouth. The teachers are the same teachers our first members loved. The vibe has not changed.
If you have never been, the easiest start is a free first class. Pick a style that looks good to you, book it in, and we will see you on the mat.

Practice over perfection
We are not interested in the perfect handstand. We are interested in showing up, breathing properly, and leaving the room a little lighter than you walked in.
Every body welcome
Bigger, smaller, bendier, stiffer, brand new, twenty years in. We genuinely mean every body. Mixed-level is the rule, modifications are the standard.
Less stress, more stretch
Yoga should be a release, not a performance. The studio is warm. The lights are soft. The music is good. Come as you are.
A real community
Both studios have regulars who stay for tea after class. The members chat for FOLD at Home is genuinely active. None of that is accidental.
Five years in.
Stoke Newington opens
A small room on Green Lanes with a big idea: serious yoga without seriousness. North London showed up.
FOLD at Home launches
Lockdown forced the move online. The community came with us. The virtual studio is still here.
Leyton opens
A second studio in east London. Same ethos, new space, fresh community.
Two studios, online, growing
Daily classes, a busy at-home programme, workshops, teacher training, and a few retreats a year.
